About the Therapist

Support for relationships, intimacy, and emotional wellbeing

Margot is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and therapist specializing in couples counseling, sexual health, intimacy, and relationship challenges. She supports individuals and couples who want to understand their relationship patterns, improve communication, and develop a more fulfilling connection with themselves and their partners.

Margot has experience working with intimacy and relationship concerns, including difficulties surrounding sexual desire, painful sex, and emotional connection. She understands that these challenges rarely exist in isolation. Stress, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, past experiences, communication patterns, and beliefs about sex and intimacy can all influence how people experience closeness.

Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in clinical understanding. Rather than offering generic relationship advice, Margot works with clients to explore the patterns contributing to their difficulties and identify meaningful, practical ways to create change.

Therapy provides a space where sensitive topics can be discussed openly and without judgment. Whether you are navigating a difficult period in your relationship, feeling anxious about intimacy, or trying to understand why the same conflicts keep happening, therapy is tailored to your circumstances, goals, and needs.

Margot believes that healthy relationships do not require you to abandon yourself. They require the ability to remain connected to your own needs while building emotional safety, understanding, and intimacy with another person.

Outside of therapy, Margot values the connection between mind and body and believes in the importance of nurturing both. A retired ensemble dancer, she continues to appreciate movement and discipline through practicing Krav Maga. In her free time, she enjoys reading, comedy movies, and video games. She believes that finding balance means making room for personal growth, physical wellbeing, creativity, and a little laughter along the way.
