Astute Counseling Services is contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, PPO PLAN ONLY. We submit all insurance claims for clients who have BCBS PPO as their insurance provider. We also work with out-of-network clients and other insurance carriers.

You are responsible for submitting claims to and requesting reimbursement from your out-of-network insurance company, HMO, responsible party or third-party payer.

Out-of-pocket therapy costs for clients using alternative insurance plans depend on the provider’s reimbursement rate; you are responsible for finding out your reimbursement rates and out-of-pocket costs. We will be happy to discuss those costs with you before billing.

Rates may change, based on information provided by your insurance company.

At each session, we ask you to pay either your co-pay, 100% of the fee (if you haven’t met your deductible) or the full cash payment.

Please note that insurance may not reimburse you for divorce mediation, review of records, extensive phone consultations or missed appointments.
